ci App Naming Standard
Applies to Platform1 versions 7, 8, & 9.
App ID Naming Pattern
- Recommended app ID pattern for your custom apps:
- [Company][App group][Operation]
- For example:
- KFC_INV_IT - Inventory Transfer
- Use “GEN” (generic) as the company for apps that are (or can be) used at more than one company.
- To future proof your system, use the company part of the app ID, even if you only currently have one company using your ci system.
- App ID pattern of “standard apps” that come with ci:
- [ERP system][App group *or* department *or* module][Operation]
- For example:
- JDE_INV_IA - Inventory Adjustment
- Explanation: Tbecause this pattern is already
