[Early 2021] I recently completed the “DSI 310: Introduction to Forms” course through DSI®’s Self-Paced Online Training. This is the first course I’ve taken this way.
This is a non-interactive course, so it consisted of watching videos.
Impressions
I enjoyed the course. The video and trainer were clear and went at the right pace for me.

I have taken in-person Forms training in the past and have extensive Forms experience, and I still took away some notes and tips from this short intro course.
Likes
The format of talking through the form controls and data controls during the demonstration of actually developing a Forms application.
Some portions of the demonstrated development were sped up to keep it from becoming boring, while also being slow enough that you can still see what was being done.

A note about the prerequisite:
This “Introduction to Forms” course would be a great introduction even if you have not taken the “Application Studio” prerequisite course yet.
Conclusion
Excellent introduction to Forms capabilities and development.
This course serves as an introduction to the DSI Platform 9’s Forms and Form Editor. Topics covered include an overview of the Form Editor and what Forms-based applications are, as well as Form components including Form Controls, Data Controls, and Platform Views.
